Viola is a player for playing music files.
- Plays music files located in iTunes' Music folder or any other folder. (Protected files such as M4P files cannot be played.)
- Clicking a folder in the file browser adds all music files within that folder to the playlist.
- Selecting individual music files in the file browser adds them to the playlist in the order selected.
- Dropping music files or folders onto the app icon also creates a playlist.
- Playlists can be rearranged by dragging or shuffled randomly.
- Playlists can be saved to a file.
- Edit and save metadata for music files. (Saving converts files to M4A format. Some file types, like M4P, cannot be edited. Data specific to Apple's Music app cannot be edited.)
- The equalizer allows you to increase or decrease the volume of specific frequency bands.
- Save frequently used equalizer settings as equalizer presets.
